I would like to replace the existing ice bin in the lower freezer compartment with smaller one. It never fills completely, but makes enough for our needs, so I would like to replace the existing bin with a smaller version and use the saved space for additional food items. Has anyone done this and if so, how?
Is it jammed or anything to not make enough? Is there a button like switch at the top of the freezer door? If so, it could be faulty and you need to press it in and then depress so the freezer will know to make ice. I watched a YouTube video. If I find a video about your inquiry I'll let you know.
