I just purchased the Samsung Besoke 3 door refrigerator with drink center. The left door is just a little low and doesn't allow the right prt of the door to fold in so that it stays insulated and cool in the refrigerator.

I read the manual and I know that there are rings that can be placed in the bottom of the door hinge to align properly. The installation crew did put one in when installing but should have put a larger one in.

How do I get the rings to correct the installation mistake?

thanks,

James

You should call back the installer and have them install it properly.  This was a bad install.  Or call Samsung and tell them their installer did a bad installation, and you want it fixed.  I think this is something you should have noticed before the installer left.  You usually have to certify that you are OK with the installation, and they should have demonstrated that everything was working properly.  Personally, I pull out my level when things are installed, but a mismatch of door height should have been apparent.

To adjust the door alignment on your Samsung Bespoke 3-door refrigerator, you can follow these steps to correct the installation and ensure the door seals properly:

1. Turn off the Refrigerator:

Before making any adjustments, unplug the refrigerator to avoid any electrical hazards.

2. Check the Existing Ring:

The installation crew should have placed a ring in the bottom hinge of the left door. The ring might be too small, so you'll need to remove it to replace it with a larger one.

3. Remove the Bottom Hinge Cover (if applicable):

You may need to remove the hinge cover on the bottom of the refrigerator to access the hinge. This can usually be done by gently prying it off with a flat tool. Be careful not to damage the plastic.

4. Remove the Existing Ring:

If the ring in place is too small, carefully lift it off the hinge. You might need to use a flat-head screwdriver to gently lift it.

5. Install the Correct-Sized Ring:

Your refrigerator should have come with additional rings of different sizes (if not, you may need to contact Samsung for replacement parts). Place the larger ring in the bottom hinge.

Slide the new, larger ring over the pin or onto the hinge where the original smaller one was.

6. Re-align the Door:

After placing the correct ring, align the door properly. You may need to adjust the position of the door slightly to ensure that it sits flush with the refrigeratorā€™s body and seals properly when closed.

7. Check the Door Seal:

Close the left door and check the seal. The right part of the door should now fold inward to ensure it stays insulated and cool inside. The seal should be even around the doorframe, and the door should close fully.

8. Test the Adjustment:

Plug the refrigerator back in and check the alignment by opening and closing the door several times. Ensure that the door is no longer sagging or misaligned.

9. Reattach the Cover:

If you had to remove any hinge covers, reattach them after the adjustment is complete.

If you're not comfortable doing this yourself or if the rings don't seem to fix the issue, consider reaching out to Samsung support for assistance or having the installation team return to make the necessary adjustments.
