My Samsung Electric Range has poor temperature control. Any setting from 2 to 10 is similar, way too hot.
When I bring a recipe to a a boil, and then 'when it calls for simmer, even the lowest setting produces a rapid boil. I joke with family, the stove top electric burners are either off or surface of the sun. Nothing in between.
