When I look at the top oven with broil or bake mode on, the flame at the top of the oven looks the same.  From the heat source perspective, in the top oven, what is the difference between bake and broil (and roast mode, for that matter)?

Thanks.

Roast and Bake are really the same ... it's mostly about temperature ... Bake for up to 350f or so ... Roast for 400f and beyond

Broil is associated with , usually, 500f + , and only heats the upper elements ... Bake and Broil use the the upper and lower elements
