14 month old range purchased directly from Samsung for $635.
Recently, the oven and display died, but stove top worked. Next day, the stove died too.
A friend then turned off the circuit breaker, thinking that he was turning it off.
Today i reset the circuit breaker to "on". The stove came back to life, but only the the "surface hot" LED got the message. The oven and display remain out.
My guess is that a board got fried. When I asked a repairman what the cost would be to replace main circuit board, which I assume is worst case scenario, he declined to answer before making a service call.
I am reluctant to have him come if he won't tell me that, as I imagine that price might approach the purchase price.
What would you do? He has mostly good reviews on YELP.

Ok that part should be the control board that you were asking about I’ve seen it listed on a couple of sites

Thanks. I imagine that swapping out the board would be straightforward. I should do some reading online to confirm my guess/diagnosis before going further.
Yeah it looks like it should be just unplug and plug in the new one hopefully you figure out the issue
