We have SAMSUNG Household Gas Range (Free standing) built in 2020.

When we start the oven to bake/roast something, I can hear the sound of gas flow, and and see the glow of the flame. as it is heating, every 10 to 15 seconds, the "gas flow" sound stops, and we hear what sounds like it "re-lighting" and the flow sound returns. This goes on as long as the oven is warming to the set temperature. We observe the glow of the flame without any apparent interruption while this is going on.

There are no error codes being presented,

Is this normal behavior that we just failed to notice until recently? or is this something that requires attention?

Hi there, I can definitely understand the concern with hearing these strange sounds from your oven. But not to worry! The following link will take you to our handy guide on oven noises. It has detailed information about all the possible sounds you may hear; including which sounds are normal, and how to troubleshoot ones that aren't.

However, if the steps in this link do not help, service would be the next recommended step. There are a few options here we can take based on your warranty status.
If you’re in the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, please gather together the full model and serial number of your unit, and have ready your name, street address, 2 phone numbers (Best contact, alternative number), email, and place of purchase. Provide this information to an agent, in one of the following options below:
1.) Reach out to a Moderator directly, by selecting our name and the message option. When messaging please use a link to this thread in addition to the info above.
2.) Reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter. Please provide the same info as above, as well as the link to your thread.
3.) You can also contact 1-800-726-7864, if you’d like to speak with a live agent about this situation.
4.) Last, if you wish to speak with a live agent and don’t want to call in, you can reach out to our Live Chat team.
If you’re out of the one-year manufacturer’s warranty:
1. You can utilize this link to locate an authorized service center in your area to obtain estimates for repairs: http://www.Samsung.com/us/support/service/location or reach out to any local repair shop.
2. The other option, would be a replacement of the unit. Samsung.com offers amazing deals on different models that may be to your liking, check out those deals here: https://www.samsung.com/us/ranges/

common issue, sounds like the ignitor is out.

fairly simple d.i.y project. plenty of utube vids to help out if you've haven't replaced one or it's been a while and need a quick refresher.

@floydvoid might be correct. based on your description, though, it sounds to me like the normal sounds that occur when a unit is heating up (expansion, etc.)
