LED and OLED TVsMy Series 8000 Smart TV connects to the internet but cannot use the current Samsung browser because the browser needs updating. When you attempt a software update you get the message that the software is up-to-date and there is no update needed/available. Chatting with Samsung support is of no help as they are reading from a script and apparently do not fully grasp issue of the need to update the browser software. All of the basic things they ask you to do, do not help, e.g. rebooting, closing out of the program settings, unplugging the power source for a minute or more, etc. Support's only solution is to reset the TV to factory settings thus losing all settings previously made. Before doing that and after pressing the CS support person on whether there is a known solution to an apparently wide spread problem (see internet search for Samsung browser problems)I was told there is no known solution at this time. So the script to reboot to factory reset is just to create an impression the CS person is helping fix a problem when they know there is no solution. Pretty deceptive and frustrating. Not sure what to do next, but may be time to find another brand of TV.

LED and OLED TVsWhere can you get the update? When you try to update via settings/support/update, you receive a message the software is up to date and no update is available. It's my understanding Samsung only has the 1 software program and you cannot download a different one. If you know where I can go to download it, let me know.
