I have a RU8000 TV which is not supported (ordered in 2019)

Am I able to install the app through a USB, etc?

No, you can't side load apps on a Samsung TV.

You would need to purchase either a Fire TV device or Google TV device.

I have the Onn Google TV I have side load a few apps, very easy.

I don't like to use a Smart TV's streaming apps, they don't get updated as frequently as a Streaming device.

You can side load apps onto samsung tvs, but sadly the Xbox app won't work with your TV. The connection with the Bluetooth just won't let it work. So best you can do is mirror it to the tv.

You cannot directly install the Xbox app on an unsupported TV through a USB or any other direct installation method. The app needs to be officially supported by the TV's operating system for it to work properly.
