LED and OLED TVsI had ordered 65” OLED s90d. It is missing a L leg of the pedestal. Where the TV sits in my house, it is not mountable to the wall, making new $1600 tv useless. I tried first to go through Costco because I love their customer service. They called Samsung for me, to verify my purchase. Great. Except Samsung still needed copy of my reciept. I paid online with like 5 other items. She made me screen shot all the parts of my order, how I paid etc. They also need photo of serial number. Fine, it’s just still in the box, so I get flashlight and pull back all the covering. When I mentioned this seemed excessive for a quality control issue, and I just need a L leg to use my TV she said “well you have to prove you bough the TV”. If I did not buy the TV what good is one part of the pedestal going to do. She said well people sell the parts online. I asked why would anyone want to buy just a single leg to the stand for TV unless more than just mine came missing a leg. I said a quick google search shows this seems to happen a lot. A known problem should have an easy solution and better yet steps to prevent it. She said “she has never heard of this happening before but she can’t speak about what people say online”. Fine, go through the whole thing, text her all the pics, get a reference number. Was told the part should arrive in 7-10 days and I’ll get text updates. It’s been silent,
