I've owned this TV for four years. It’s my third Samsung model, but it will likely be my last.

I was watching TV for about 20 minutes when I heard a loud pop, followed by a burning odor. I was pretty concerned it might catch fire in my living room.

After that, the TV stopped working entirely. It’s been a disappointing experience with a TV that's only four years old.

Is there anything Samsung can do to help?

It's probably cheaper to replace it

Sounds like a resistor(fuseable) fail, capacitor fail, transformer in the power supply area of the TV. After four years it may be cheaper to buy a new one but check the repair cost first to be sure. At one point in my life I worked Consumer Electronics Repair for a living...
