Hi,

This might be a weird question.

But how close can I hang an LCD Samsung TV to a wood burning stove. Is there any recommendation or is it not a problem at all in regards to heat emission from the wood stove?

Modern TVs are pretty sensitive creatures. And there are a number of variables for you to consider.

Is there a constant airflow that would mitigate any heat towards the TV?

Have you checked the TV's documentation for temperature range?

Take the temperature in the immediate area of the TV. Fire up the stove to normal use - take temperature again - how much did it increase? Is it within the range in the documentation?

Thx for the reply and good instructions/recommendations. I will definitely measure the temperature when the stove is on and see what is written in the documentation.
