After just eight months, my S90C developed a red square on the lower right side of the screen. Samsung refuses to help — their customer support is the worst. I feel like I’m getting nowhere.

A TV like this should last much longer, but now there’s a giant red spot on the lower left corner that takes up a quarter of the screen. I spent $1,700 and only got eight months out of it.

I’ve also found many other people online who have experienced similar issues with Samsung TVs. “Samsung cares”? What a joke — it feels more like Samsung doesn’t care at all. Honestly, I feel like I was robbed.

It is most likely a faulty T-con board. If your TV is under warranty, contact a Samsung repair shop. If the warranty has expired, find a technician who can perform the repair.

Samsung warranties do not cover dead pixels or burn in from my understanding.

Oof... Try to get another repair shop to do it. Usually Samsung doesn't do this I think

I ordered a TCON board, hoping it will fix the issue. It makes me sick to think my $1,800 TV is broken — especially since I’ve barely used it. This experience makes me never want to buy Samsung again.

Meanwhile, my LG C1 has been working perfectly for nearly four years. I contacted Samsung, and they told me my warranty expired just six days ago. They were very rude, and I hope I never have to deal with them again.
