LED and OLED TVsI'm coming from Reddit after one user mentioned that posting here could help, please see my Reddit post HERE
My Samsung S95B just died yesterday. It's experiencing the infamous "Green Screen of D..." with a boot loop that only stops when unplugged from the wall. According to hundreds of reports I have read online, is a manufacturing issue frequently seen after playing (randomly) at high brightness and/or FPS. Most reports I have seen are related to the XBOX. Yesterday after I finished using my Xbox Series S, I went to sleep and after 10 minutes the power cycling started.
I bought this TV less than 2 years ago and mistakenly didn't buy the extended Warranty. I thought that being an expensive piece of tech would be solid and well built. I'm still making monthly payments through Samsung Financing so this is a sad situation. Yesterday I reached out to chat customer service and after explaining the situation and sending videos and images I was told nothing could be done other than paying another $1000 for a panel replacement. Obviously, I can't afford that. I'm coming here as last resort since everyone is advising me to just buy another TV since this one is doomed. I don't know if you guys have a different opinion or maybe a different approach to follow that could help.
Thank you
