This 32" Samsung M70B Smart Monitor is failing to power on. When plugged in, I hear a click from the mainboard, and when pressing the power button, the screen briefly flickers (like lightning), but no splash screen or boot occurs.

Through inspection, I’ve confirmed:

  • The LCD backlight works if disconnected from the mainboard.
  • All cables and external power are functioning.
  • Issue is likely related to logic board/firmware failure.

Looking at forums and Reddit, I see similar issues from other users involving sudden failure of these monitors — no physical damage, just a spontaneous failure of the internal board. This appears to be a systemic issue.

I’m requesting that Samsung investigate this as a potential latent defect and provide guidance or service support — even if out of warranty. This is a premium monitor and failure at this stage should not be acceptable.
