Monitors and MemoryWith there being no backlight, this would require service. With the monitor being 49", the service can happen at your friend's home as the monitor is too big to mail in. Have your friend send us a message with the monitor's full serial number and a brief description of the issue. He can also call into 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864) if he doesn't feel comfortable providing that info to us here.
