Monitors and MemoryMy MacBook displays and charges over the usb-c port on the display and detects the monitor in the audio settings, however I cannot get it to actually play audio when connected via usb-c. When connecting via HDMI audio is functional for my Mac and other devices but I cannot seem to get audio to work when connected to usb-c even after messing around with all of the device settings .

Monitors and MemoryI solved it, while trying to no avail to get my MacBook Air M1 working I noticed there was an update to Monterey 12.2.
After installing it (always keeping the mac connected via USB-C) on reboot after the update the audio works without problems via USB-C on the Samsung M7 ... (Obviously I have selected Samsung in the audio output).

Monitors and MemoryI've had this problem for about 8 months on a 16" MacBook Pro, and I've tried every suggestion I could find.
After macOS Monterey 12.3 came out and I installed the update, it started working immediately.
