Projectors & Other TVsHow do you turn off the auto-detect HDMI feature? Sometimes my Apple TV comes on and then the TV automatically turns on as well but I don't want the TV to do so. How do you turn off this feature?
Thanks,
Mark

Projectors & Other TVsI have it turned off on my Switch and it will still activate HDMI3 every 5 minutes or so. I have to unplug it when not using it. I had the issue with PS4 also but have since gotten rid of that. No issues with my xbox, but I also do not have that set to be quick power on, I always shut it completely off.

Projectors & Other TVsJeff started a thread on their Facebook page. Keep piling it on and they will see the responses. It seems they check Facebook more than their own support page

Yes. Everyone go and pile onto this at least we see that a Samsung rep is seeing it meanwhile here it seems like they're not even reading.

A while back I posted on Facebook and one of Samsung's reps responded. They said it was an issue with the TV responding to any kind of activity signal and not just the wake-up signal via the dedicated pin.
So that guy, at least, is aware of the issue. If they actually do something about it is another matter entirely.
This is the link on FB. Since this thread is so long people who read this might want to re-post this link or even comment on it since it actually got acknolwedgement from Samsung.

Also, this is the response from that FB post. "Samsung Support No problem Michael. The problem itself is with signal triage. It doesn't have much to do with the Switch itself, it's more about it responding to every new signal as most important. I definitely understand how frustrating it can become. ^Gill"

Projectors & Other TVsI honestly cannot find the thread right now but we mods have also acknowledged the issue and have already stated this has been sent over to the development team. We do not have an ETA on a response nor can we speculate on the whens/ifs of future updates. BUT - the people who make all the decisions have been made aware that this is an issue and that several people are not happy about it. (Meaning I sent them here to read about it)

Projectors & Other TVsReally feeling positive about the last couple of replies to this thread. It's just good to know that people at Samsung are aware of this awful awful issue.
I guess it's now just a matter of if they want to solve it.... *crosses fingers*
