Projectors & Other TVsinternet is working fine Netflix working fine on another TV it fails before the password stage. Getting unable to connect message it’s old but still a great tv haven’t used for over a year because the tv was located in a seldom used room

Projectors & Other TVsIt may have to do with the Netflix app version that's installed. Might also need to clear the app's data and cache or just reinstall the app to do that.
If that doesn't work then its something with the TV
Unless everything else on the TV that uses internet also fails.
In the absolute worst case you could just buy an external device instead of using internal. Eg Fire TV stick, Android TV stick, Roku stick, etc. The TV just needs a free HDMI input.
