Projectors & Other TVsHello. For some reason, my Samsung TV is no longer talking correctly to my Yamaha soundbar (see model numbers in the subject line). Both devices work fine independently. When the two devices were fully operational together . . .
1. The soundbar would turn on and off automatically when the TV was turned on and off.
2. When the TV volume was adjusted using the TV's remote control, the volume display on the TV's screen included "... ATS-1060".
Note: Even though the Yamaha soundbar has ARC audio, the Samsung TV does not.
Any thoughts about what might be the problem?

Projectors & Other TVsYou are my hero! Now I remember turning off the CEC setting, thinking it was for something else. All is good. And once again I see the soundbar model number displayed with the volume # on the TV screen.
Thank you!

You're very welcome glad to help I've got a few TV's myself even a cheap Hisense that still supported CEC device communication so I thought this was a most likely reason why your TV wasn't communicating with your sound bar
