Shaded area on screen

Anyone have issues with a shaded area coming up on the tv screen. It's about 6 inches wide and goes from top to bottom of the screen. Any way to fix this so I don't have to buy another tv.

Those are dead pixels. Have the screen replaced or just upgrade.
