The 6ft something it comes with is too short. To rub through wall. Hoping to find a longer version or even connect two. I've seen some that look like them, and are 3 meters, but don't want to buy something that doesn't work.

As for the cable being compatible it would be hard to say as it may not be from a Samsung-certified seller or a Samsung model.
