Just purchased a 2023 samsung oled 77" I was watching a movie and an icon popped up and said change your tv to 1080p.  I am not able to find a setting to change it.  Can anyone help?  tv model is qn77s90c

It may have been software related. Normally, TVs don't have settings to change resolution. That's normally the other side of things. Such as Google TV, Roku TV, Amazon fire TV may pop that up and have resolution settings.

So check settings elsewhere.

comcast xfinity dvr box .

This setting will be on the Comcast box I would recommend reaching out to their support team as that should be in their settings
