I would like to propose an improvement regarding volume control when using Spotify Connect on a Samsung TV in combination with an external audio system connected via HDMI-CEC/ARC.
Currently, volume adjustment via Spotify Connect is only possible when the TVโs built-in speakers are in use. When an external sound system is connected through CEC/ARC, volume control via Spotify Connect is no longer available, even though the TV and audio system fully support external volume control through CEC.
It would be highly beneficial if Spotify Connect could optionally allow volume adjustment in this setup as well, leveraging the existing CEC/ARC volume control. This would create a more consistent and seamless user experience across different audio configurations and better align with how users expect Spotify Connect to function.
I believe making this behavior configurable or automatically supported when CEC is available would significantly improve usability for users with external sound systems.
