QLED and The Frame TVs
I just upgraded my TV to the QN90D from a AU8000. I have the Q600C soundbar and when I turn on my PS5 and the TV switches to game mode the soundbar starts making a constant ticking sound. I can stop the ticking sound buy switching through the inputs of the soundbar. This only happens when the TV switches to game mode. I didn't have this issue on the AU8000 when it switched to game mode. I've tried unplugging then replugging the HDMI cables into the PS5, TV and soundbar and it still happens. The software on the TV, PS5 and soundbar are all up to date. Is there a setting on the TV that I'm missing?

I am having the same issue with a new OLED tv I bought this week. It’s a weird ticking sound.

I may have figured it out. I went into the TV settings and the under sound I went to Expert Settings. Then go to Digital Output Audio Format. I changed it from Auto to Pass-Through. The ticking went away so far. I've only played on the PS5 twice since I made the change but so far so good. Let me know if it works for you too!

Awesome!! You're welcome!! I'm glad it worked for you too. I was super bummed thinking that I got a defective TV straight from Samsung and couldn't believe it. I'm happy everything is still working as normal especially Dolby Atmos! So since it worked for you too I guess I can mark it as an accepted solution huh?

That's weird. I thought it would let you accept it. Because I click the 3 next to yours and I see report and accept and mine is edit and delete. 🤷🏻Lol1733379080256.jpg1733379080311.jpg

Oh shoot. If you don't mind, I guess you would have to accept it as a solution by clicking the 3 dots next to my name. I just tried but it only allows me to edit or delete it.

I have figured it out. I went into the TV settings and the under sound I went to Expert Settings. Then go to Digital Output Audio Format. I changed it from Auto to Pass-Through. The ticking went away. I've only played on the PS5 several times since I made the change and there's no more ticking sound. And Dolby Atmos still works normally with the e-Arc. Let me know if it works for you too!

@Samsung_Moderator how do I make my above comment an accepted solution for this issue just in case anyone else has this problem? I've tried clicking on the 3 dots and it only allows me to delete and edit.
