QLED and The Frame TVs

2020 build Q70 Qled tv, when i power on it shows the tv channel that was on last and the menu at the bottom of the screen, but then fades out to a black screen within a second or two.  I can still hear sound for a while though.  Sometimes it will go silent and the QLED logo comes one, then black screen again.  I tried a 60 second unplug.  Also tried a factory reset (power button for 30 seconds) that didn't seem to work (although it beeped or flashed i cant remember), it still came on the last channel.  I unplugged it for 24 hours, screen stayed on for several minutes while I changed channels and loaded netflix, seem to be working so I turned it off.  Next day, back to fade to black screen.

I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this on a case-by-case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

Hello! @APirateLooksAt50  Thank you so much for posting about this I completely understand your concerns with the tv screen fading to black. Does your TV have a one-connect box or not? Have you updated the recent software? certain TVs have the HDMI cable test, To perform the test, ensure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test. Navigate to Settings, and then select Support. Select Device Care, select Self Diagnosis, and then select Signal Information. Select HDMI Cable Test, and then choose Start Test.

Please let me know if this helps

I do not have a one connect box. I do no have any hdmi cables attached. I only use wifi. It would be difficult to do a cable test because the screen fades to black before I can access the settings menu, also, no cables attached. I was able to check to verify that my software was current and set on auto update.

Sometimes there can be a bug with a update seen mentioned over past few years but not alone could be issue with a update installation
