I bought Qn65q9 a while back and my IR sensor stop working correctly. It only works when I point the remote control directly to the certain spot. I am trying to find the part to replace or buy IR extender. However, I am not sure which one to get and where to find. If you have faced any issues like this, can you please provide me a solution? Thank you.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! You can find most parts here at samsungparts.com. Also if you wish you should be able to control your TV using the SmartThings remote. You can set that up here at https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083002/

Thank you for your comment. I wasn't able to find the parts that I mentioned anywhere. I also did setup the SmartThings remote however, it is unideal to use that every time I want to do something with the TV.

My apologies I just realized the link did not work this is the link:https://samsungparts.com/. You can also reach out to our part's distributor at 1-800-627-4368. If you are unable to find the part there the only other option would be through a 3rd party such as Amazon or eBay, or having the TV set up for service. If you wish to go through with service please see the options below.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.

- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.

- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup

- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.
