Iāve had my Frame TV for about 1.5 years and have gone through 2 solar cell remotes. Both times, the remotes work great for a few months then all the sudden will not connect to the TV via Bluetooth. All I can do is turn the tv on or off with the IR mode. Iāve gone through all the troubleshooting steps, and Samsung has told me Iād have to purchase a new remote since my TV is out of the 12 month warranty.
my concern is, if I buy a 3rd remote for $50-100, am I going to have the same issue again in 6 months? Are these defective remotes a known issue across the board, or just with a specific model year?
