Change email in Samsung account and ensure I do NOT have to reconnect my SmartThings devices.

The subject says most of it. I need to change my email address on my Samsung account since I no longer have access to it but it is also what I use to log into my SmartThings hub and account and I heard a "rumor" that making an email changes as I am suggesting might force me to reconnect the devices connected to my SmartThings hub. 

I am here looking for someone to assure me that this will not be the case.

To the best of my knowledge in order for your phone to have the handshake to your Smart Hub they need to be on the same Samsung account, your Samsung account is tied to an email.

Yea I had to make sure both my phones were on same account to transfer.

I do not have a samsung phone. Just an account. Mostly concerned with the SmartThings hub and if I need to re-connect all devices if I change email
