I use the AOD in the landscape orientation, but the widgets don't show, and my phone is usually in a holder in the landscape position. I like to see my first three notifications at a glance, and I think that the ability to create widgets off to the side, such as media controls would be nice. Adding thus functionality to the lockscreen would be great as well.
