How to change from Heic format to Jpeg?

My phone stated using the heic format for pictures instead of jpeg. I want to know how this apple program got on my android and how I can get rid of it and go back to joeg?

Follow the circles instructions. If this doesn't fix it I would recommend bringing your phone to your local carrier or factory resetting it.
