Questions about the amount of steps for individuals in the Samsung Health challenge

I am a fairly active individual and normally get between 13K and 18K steps a day.  I noticed that the top individuals in the challenge average over 90K steps in a day.  Allowing for sleep, this is about 6K steps an hour.  I question that someone can make that many steps.  I realize this is a fun challenge, but I don't know how these individuals get that many steps legitimately.

Does anyone else question this?

Let's average 3 miles walking is an hour so they would be walking 7 plus hours

😂 This is totally unfair. Samsung isn't enforcing their own policy.
I have no aspirations of winning, don't get me wrong
I just want the numbers to be truthful. @samsung

I've noticed that also that's crazy i was also was about to say
something about it, you beat me to the punch it's definitely no way you person can get that many steps in a day :hundred_points:

End of Day 5 and the top 10 have over 500,000 steps each
That is inpossible

The participants are definitely fudging the results by swinging their arems. With the watch, atm movements count on the steps, which is why steps are not counted if you are pushing a stroller or shooping cart or lawn mower, etc. if Samsung measured by GPS the way they do on the phone, that could be avoided. Until they change that, people will continue to inflate their step count.
