Samsung, Don't give everything to Google (Messages complaint)

I got a new Samsung last year, the new Samsungs push Google messages as default message app. I actually enjoyed using it for RCS and interface, but otherwise Samsung Messages has more features.

For example, Google messages does not have a trash. If you delete a message, its gone for good. It has an archive but that's a waste of storage. 

Google has a Blocked and Spam folder, but in that folder new messages from blocked numbers are unretrievable but new messages from Spam numbers still come in.

Google Messages is nice, but Samsung could just improve their existing messaging app so that it aligns with the other Samsung apps that are better than Google (Samsung notes, Gallery, etc).

The Samsung Messenger app is being phased out. Google Messenger is now the default messaging app on Samsung phones.

Google messenger? That's old isn't it like hangouts /bikeshed. ? You mean GOOGLE MESSAGES? I haven't even used it yet. Is it cool?

Not necessarily better, just more customizable to be stylish, you know.

I like samsung messages better because it has more customization features. Samsung is slowly phasing out samsung messages to make google messages the default.
