Samsung Apps and ServicesI have been using Gallery Sync to OneDrive for over a year and it has always worked as I expected, as a two-way sync between DCIM/Camera and Pictures/...
However I recently did a system restore on my phone (Galaxy S22) and I cannot get it working correctly again. What I find is:
(1) Photos added to DCIM/Camera on phone show up correctly in OneDrive/Pictures/Samsung Gallery/DCIM/Camera but photos deleted from phone are not deleted from OneDrive.
(2) Photos added to Pictures/some-album on phone do not show up in OneDrive/Pictures/Samsung Gallery/Pictures/some-album and photos deleted from phone are not deleted from OneDrive.
(3) Photos added to OneDrive, either DCIM/Camera or Pictures/some-album, do not show up on phone, nor are deletions synced in this direction.
I have:
verified Gallery sync with OneDrive is enabled and all my albums are listed and enabled in Albums to sync.
logged out of and back into my Samsung account on my phone and my computer
disconnected and reconnected the synchronization of OneDrive with Samsung Gallery

Samsung Apps and Services@rsbrux In Gallery -> 3 line menu -> Settings -> Sync with OneDrive, under Sync now does it have a recent date and time?
What happens when you click on Sync now?

Samsung Apps and ServicesWhat finally worked for me was reinstalling OneDrive (disable, remove updates, enable, reinstall updates) then logging out and back in to my Samsung account.

Samsung Apps and ServicesThanks to all those who responded. Fortunately none of those measures were necessary. I was still logged into OneDrive and had plenty of space left. The date and time was a few days old and "sync now" was acknowledged with a syncing message but nothing happened until the WiFi connection was interrupted and reestablished hours later. Now everything appears to work as it should. Thanks again for all the help!

Samsung Apps and ServicesWell, as I said a few days ago, What finally worked for me was reinstalling OneDrive. So:
- Disable OneDrive (from Apps settings)
- Remove OneDrive updates
- Enable OneDrive
- Install OneDrive updates
- Log into OneDrive
- Log out of Samsung account and log back in
- Verify all sync settings
