Samsung Apps and ServicesI usually play my entire "local" music collection in "tracks" shuffle mode.
Today, on a whim, I particularly wanted to listen to a favourite album in sequence. This proved impossible. The "shuffle" icon would not "unclick", and shuffle mode was also applied to all my other albums.
I eventually, after various searches and a fair amount of profane language, uninstalled and reinstalled the Samsung Player app, which allowed me to listen to my album.
However, clicking the shuffle button (purely to check) resulted in a recurrence of the same issue.
Any advice will be gratefully received - but please don't just direct me back to the shuffle icon.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI don't normally use Samsung Music, but I just tried it and it shuffled and unshuffled just fine for me. I have no idea what could be causing the issue for you since you said you uninstalled and reinstalled the app, which would have deleted both the app cache and the app data. The next step would be to delete the phone's cache partition to see if that helps. Have you considered using another music player?
