Samsung Refrigerator RFG298AABP French Door

The control panel is showing 88 8? and nothing else. We have tried unplugging and waiting at least 5 minutes. We have also tried the reset with the side buttons. No success. Has anyone else had this happen.

This is what I've found about error code 88 I would suggest contacting samsung support and having a technician to diagnose and fix the issue 

• 88 88: Communication Fault
  • This error can occur if power is disrupted during bootup.
