Samsung Apps and ServicesHad to figure this out myself. Most barcodes are in the 13 digit EAN-13 format, and the prefix/starting 3 digits "042" is for company private/internal codes, most often used for loyalty cards. The starting 0 is omitted in the USA for compatibility with the first barcodes, 12 digit UPC-A.
99 ranch app barcode is complete but only shows the member digits, omitting the loyalty prefix 042, and the check digit used to ensure accuracy (6 for mine).
Example member ID:
123456789 <9 digits>
Complete barcode:
[0](42)123456789(6) <13 digits, 12 without [0]>
[Fully omitted]
(Invisible but used)
<Digit count>
So always scan to enter membership information since some number may be hidden for simplicity. And you can't manually type in more than 32 digits for some reason (& only 256 character long notes??), only scanning a barcode longer than that works. Scanning a barcode on a different app/website on the same device requires screenshotting then importing from gallery, typing in the visible membership numbers is not 100% reliable.
