Samsung should let us uninstall Samsung Messages

Hi. After updating the Samsung Messages app to Google Messages the old app is useless.

Why doesn't Samsung allow us to uninstall it? Why don't they enable the uninstall option for it?

If you really really want to delete the app, here is a step by step guide. It's fairly complicated but straightforward and requires the use of a PC and readily available public domain software. So it can be uninstalled, but be very careful
