I've seen many comments of people having erros with downloading January's security update. The only way to do it as of now is to use smart switch on a PC or laptop
In your web browser type "Smart Switch" > click on the link and press download > once downloaded plug in device > then on the PC/Laptop press update > Now wait wil it is done.
Is this update THAT important to have to go through all that?! I don't have a PC or laptop. I spoke with Verizon on 1/24/2025 and was told they are working on fixing the 'bugs' in this update and will be reissuing another update within a few days. How do we all know if while trying to download this corrupted update that it hasn't already affected our devices in some way. We cannot update our phones to the ui7 (when it becomes available to the public) until this update is functionable enough to be able to be downloaded first unless they will integrate it with the ui7 upon stable release which is highly doubtful.
