Galaxy S21
hi everyone. does samsung have a problem with vpns. wen ever I try to share some thing to my tablet or any one else, and I have my vpn on, it just says sending untill it fails. wen I turn it off, it sends. I would just keep it off but my school's wifi restricts litterally everything so the vpn counters that so I can use my phone normally. for context, I use 1.1.1.1 vpn because it works and it's free. I downloaded it from playstore so it's not a apk file.

I found " use split tunneling on your vpn to exclude your local network and devices " .

Galaxy S21Just FYI it's not a problem specifically with Samsung. It is the nature of VPNs to block outgoing data unless granted explicit permissions. What good would a VPN be if it was just going to allow anything in/out? As @3Fees said, you can use split tunneling to exclude the network you are on, but I think that would defeat the purpose for which you are using the VPN. You may be able use split tunneling to exclude certain apps or contacts.
