I recently came across the "Stylus handwriting" option in the developer settings on my Galaxy Tab A8. The description states, "The current input method will receive a stylus MotionEvent if an editor is focused."

From what I understand, this feature is intended to allow the tablet to recognize stylus input for handwriting when using compatible applications. However, I also know that the Galaxy Tab A8 does not support the S Pen or advanced stylus features typically found in higher-end models.

Additionally, I came across a video discussing multi-buffered rendering and its role in reducing latency for stylus input. It appears that this rendering technique can help improve the responsiveness of stylus interactions by minimizing input lag.

Could someone please clarify if my understanding is correct? Specifically, does enabling the "Stylus handwriting" option have any practical effect on the Tab A8, given its hardware limitations? Is this feature related to multi-buffered rendering for lower latency, or is it purely about recognizing stylus input? Any insights on how this interacts with different input methods or apps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
