Hello just need your help right quick. I just got a Samsung tab 9 plus and I've been setting it up and getting it running the way I want it. But I have a problem with the screen going black. hit the button on the side to get it to come back on and tap the screen and nothing happens. But if tablet around then the screen will come back on is there a setting somewhere to fix this problem? Or do I really have a problem?

TabletsScreen Timeout Settings: Check your tablet's display settings for "Screen timeout" or "Sleep" duration. If this is set to a very short time, the screen might be turning off due to inactivity.
Smart Stay/Attention Aware Features: Some Samsung devices have features like "Smart Stay" that keep the screen on while you're looking at it. If this feature is enabled and not working correctly, the screen might be turning off prematurely.
Proximity Sensor: The tablet's proximity sensor might be malfunctioning, causing the screen to turn off as if it's against your ear during a call, even when it's not.
Hardware Malfunction: If adjusting settings doesn't resolve the issue, it could indicate a problem with the display, internal connections, or other hardware components, requiring professional inspection.

Tablets@userNEQw4vNfsx Sorry, can you explain your statement "But if tablet around then the screen will come back on". I think there may be a typo or missing words.
Normally if the screen goes black, you can click the side button to get the screen to come back on.
If you have the option "Double tap to turn on screen" enabled, you can just double tap the blank screen to get it to come on. This option is in tablet settings -> Advanced features -> Motions and gestures.
The screen shouldn't go black if you are interacting with it though. Where did you get this tablet?
