TabletsI think they may be trying to change their phone number in their profile information either in Google or Samsung accounts. But it would be very helpful to everyone if they were more specific.

TabletsIf you click on your Samsung account in the phone settings then click on your profile information, you can then press on the area with your phone # and you will be asked for your Samsung password to add a new number. I am not sure whether that will replace the old one or add an additional one and then you can delete the old one.
If you go to your Samsung account through a web browser on a computer, you can edit your profile information, including deleting the current number and add a new number. (You may have to add a new number before you can delete the old one)
