Make calls and send messages from your Galaxy tablet

"Call & text on other devices currently does not work with Verizon and AT&T phones" is stated on the Samsung website.

Does anyone know why you can't use these networks?

Can you use other it on other carriers that broadcast on Verizon or AT&T's network towers? 

Can you use an LTE watch to make calls and send messages?

Oh, I hadn't seen that anywhere. I wonder why they do that? Thanks for the heads up. I know I want the 16/512GB tablet so I guess there really won't be any other options.
