We are looking for a rugged tablet with a quality pen for front-line workers and Samsung Active series for it's factory-built rugged case has suit us well as a concept.
Unfortunately the latest 10" Active4 tablet is a little too bulky for us and 8" Active3 has much more suitable dimensions. Even though the writing responsiveness is better on Active4 - likely because of better hardware given it's 2 years newer model from 2022.
It is my understanding that 8" Active3 tablet (from 2020) is being phased out. Can someone please shed some light on if it's expected for Samsung to release a newer 8" rugged tablet alongside the 10" Active4 that is currently available? Samsung's wholesome rugged tablet experience is superior in this case, but with Active3 on the way out, I wonder if we are only left with iPad Mini (and extra case for extra ruggedness)
so nobody from Samsung is aware of spare components for their own products? and nobody within the Samsung community has come across this problem before. i have searched the WEB and there is no information surrounding the matter.
