S Pen (or varient) for Galaxy Tab A (2016) and (2018)

Does the S pen work compatibly with the Tab A (both 2016 and 2018 models)?

There are different variants of the Galaxy Tab A, some with S Pens, others not. If your tablet did not originally come with an S Pen, one will not work on your device.
