S-pen will not pair so I cannot use air commands. Has this happened to anyone else

My S-pen will not pair with my tablet. Has this happened to anyone else if so, what was the fix?

Good afternoon! I will be happy to assist you. Could you please try the following steps to reset your s pen?

From the Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap Advanced features.
Tap S Pen.
Tap Air actions.
Tap more options.
Tap Reset S Pen.
