TabletsAlmost brand new Samsung Tablet S9 FE. Twice to Samsung in NJ and twice they say nothing is wrong in their messages.
On powerdown/startup or restart all icons disappear except those found on the app page. I am able to restore from the Samsung Restore.
I shouldn't have to restore everytime I start this tablet. VERY frustrating.
And Samsung repair doesn't talk to me. Twice sent this tablet in and twice I have gotten an email saying "No troubles found"
I would beg to disagree with that. I used to have a 2014 Samsung Tab4 10.1. For ten years it worked without a flaw. I can't say that for this S9 FE.
And trying to get help is like beating my head against the wall.
I wish I knew how to get a new tablet or a refund.
Before the unit was sent in the first time I was in contact with Samsung via chat. We cleared the cache, rebooted and even did a factory reset. Same old problem of disappearing icons.
When I received my tablet back it was set like a new unit and I had to do all the things you have to do when you initialize the new tablet.
I got everything setup. I put in NEW icons and did a NEW Samsung backup. Guess what? Powering down and then starting again all icons except those in the app page disappeared.
This unit has to be defective. I have never seen the likes of this before.
