Still can't double tap to wake without having to sign into my tablet again. Some of those "tech" support people are dumb. They can't figure it out.I can't do chat because I can't receive their email. No problem with my text messages.
Tab 9A Plus here. I don't use any type of lock screen and I have no problems double tapping to wake up and go right to my home screen. Are you using a lock screen? If so, try disabling it and see if it works and if it does, then re-enable it.
