i've got a samsung galaxy E tablet that has 90% battery and we cannot remember the pattern to get into it. we can't power it off either (without the pattern), so doing a soft reset with the power/volume buttons will not work. there is no small reset hole to press either. how do i get into this thing????? just wait until the battery dies???
It doesn't have to be registered to your account l. If you have it signed into your Samsung account and find can find it, you should be avle to at least erase it, if not unlock it. If you etase it, you can restore your backup. It will be unlocked. You can do this from either your Samsunf6or Goifle account.
I can see a notification on the lock screen saying there was an attempt to sign in or something so I know my email is on there. I went to Find My Samsung and that tablet isn't listed. I think it was SmartThings. Where else do I try?
All I can say is try the hard reboot again Just keep holding the buttons. The shutdown/reboot is not instant. May even seem like a very long time, but if it does reboot you have to let go of the buttons as soon as you see the logo. Are you sure you were pressing the volume up and not the volume down?
I was doing volume down bc that is what saw everywhere! And it did restart so idk But I'll try volume up! Also we did try holding the power button down for 2 mins and that did nothing. It's crazy that this is a problem! š Thank you so much for your help!
