I am suddenly getting this error message and when this happens I can't access any of my files.  I'm thinking it's got a soon to be fatal flaw and I need to replace it. this is a 2016 model but has gotten limited but regular use by me only.
Ever experience this and is there a way to correct it or has it reached it's natural life span and it's time to get another?

Since itā€™s 8 yrs old and not being supported I would suggest upgrading to the newest A model or even the Tab S line the performance will be greatly improved

What do you mean by "disc stopped"? Samsung tablets do not use hard disk drives (HDDs) to store data, instead relying on SSDs or UFS storage media.
